About this course

About this course

Enrollment is a crucial part of deploying Duo. It is the process in which you add new end-users to the Duo Admin Panel and associate them with a two-factor authentication (2FA) device. You can  integrate Duo with your existing processes and infrastructure using a variety of methods. In this course, we will explore enrollment strategies for end-users who are new to Duo, policy settings to configure the enrollment experience, and guidance for which enrollment method(s) might best suit your needs. A strong end-user communication plan that provides advance notice and educates users on Duo helps to increase adoption of 2FA. To that end, you will learn best practices to teach your end-users what Duo is, how Duo will impact them, and how to enroll. You will also learn training tips to empower your help desk to provide the best possible support experience. Together, we can help make your Duo deployment as easy and successful as possible for all of your Duo administrators and end-users.

By the end of this course, you will be able to:

    • Explain the two criteria required for an end-user to be fully enrolled in Duo
    • Evaluate Duo enrollment methods based on the end-user experience, ideal environments, supported applications, and prerequisites
